The end of the 5th Grand Prix of Futsal is approaching. The decision of the GP 2009 will take place on this Sunday (5/7), at 10h30, at Newton de Faria Gym, in Anapolis. And to ensure security for the players and public and the success of the tournament, the GP staff acted outside the court.
"The organizing committee of the GP set up a security coordination that contacted various public institutions to ensure security and order for the event. Since the arrival of the players in the country, airport transfer and transport to venues, hotels and Gymnasiums security, it could count with the Police Department, ambulances (Samu) and the Firefighters, ensuring the entire structure of the tournament. And at the end we had a positive result, "said Murilo Macedo, security coordinator.
According to Macedo, about 350 people of various institutions were working behind the scenes of the tournament every day of the GP 2009 in Goiania. Federal Police, Traffic Police, Civil and Military Police, Firefighter Department, ambulances (Samu) ; AMT and CMTP (Traffic Agencies of the host cities), Juvenile Courts and Public Security Departments of Goias and City Department of Anapolis were involved.
"We could count with all these departments, federal and municipal authorities, and we want to thank all people that helped us to have an event of international level," Macedo said.

In addition to the institutions, the organization of the GP 2009 also could count with 200 private security guards hired for the matches at Goiania Arena in the capital (100 people), and at Newton de Faria, in Anapolis (100 people).
